Hold up, who is this Francesca?

Suddenly another Bridgerton sister appears out of the blue in the second to last episode. I thought there were only 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Why wasn’t she at her sister’s wedding? What kind of sister skips out on her sister’s wedding to a Duke? Is she younger or older than Eloise?

Francesca appeared in the first ep plus she was mentioned multiple times. Did you miss that the family had a tradition of naming children in alphabetical order? There had to be an F because there was a G and an H.

Francesca disappeared again in Season 2.

She is supposed to be away. If you read her book it's explained in detail. She likes to be away from her family and build her own life instead of dealing with their BS.

Unmarried young women in the peerage class didn’t go off and live their own lives in that era, unless she is living with family.
