Good luck finding a show that deals with relatable drama and tension that actually has a heterosexual white couple in the lead roles that isn't steeped in interracial relationships, gay relationships, lesbian relationships, or some other kind of kink to turn off normal viewers.
It is kind of fascinating to be living through the end of civilization as we have known it since the Enlightenment. I'm glad I'm old and don't have to worry about being around for another forty, fifty, or sixty years.
shareIt's not fascinating. It's depressing. We have about 2-3 centuries to jump to space before running out of resources. After that, it'll be too late and we'll slowly decline and go back to caves as resources become more and more scarce. 5000 years from now, we're likely to be back in the stone age.
If only western civilization could have lasted a few centuries more, enough to advance science and technology and start the conquest of space...
