it cant be that it was horrible. The audience MUST be blamed!! theres no such thing as forced "woke" diversity you men need to stop saying that and making that up. Oh but they put an oppressed lesbian and then black woman as the lead then talked about how she "isnt about to let a man take credit for a womans work" and "the suit is literally perfect" then batwoman- "it will be, when it fits a woman" . see not "woke" at all!
i've given cw shows fair shot and i've never gotten past around episode 3 of any original cw show. the writing style is just boring. but it seems to be constant across all shows... dewokifying this one would not have helped
this is the issue. i dont think they simply replaced "the non woke" with "the woke" and if they just switch back itll be great. i think they sacrifice any semblance of actual good writing, good characters, story etc in favor of these "woke" things and think itll act as a substitution. like how Rian Johnson simply substituted these things for "subvert expectations" in his star wars film.

but its not just a CW problem its a constant thing. Now that doesnt mean SUperman and Lois must be good becuase it doesnt have "woke stuff". there can still be bad non woke shows. the issue is there is a massive increase of woke shows and movies on multiple networks who all sacrafice good writing for check boxes, diversity and representation. I havent seen SUperman and Lois but i heard positive things but i do not know.
I tried them all and gave up on every one of them (and I'm a big DC fan). They did aim high with their world/universe building, and I liked Benoist's and Hoechlin's casting. That's really the only credit I can give them.
