Amalia's origins (Spoilers episode 4)

So,is Amalia...an alien?? From episode 4 it seems that she belongs to the species that was in the ship that flew over London when the touched got their powers. By the way what a twist it was the one about Lucy Best! I liked her! I also like the new character, the touched named Nimble,he is great. And i have to say that the character of Lord Massen is the worst so far,he is too much a sterotyped conservative politicians so far. Hope the character will improve as the story moves forward.

Right now, I'm on the last season of Poldark. Pip Torrens, who play Lord Massen, plays the same type of character in Poldark as he does in The Nevers. A strait-laced, conservative evil-ass.

Re: Amalia. I get the same impression. She's from the ship the flew over London, and it seems she was left behind. She did hint she wasn't who she seems. Remember, she did tell The Beggar King "this isn't my face."

So she might be an alien who can change look

I think Amalia's body is possessed by an alien intelligence from the ship.
Maladie referenced Amalia shedding her skin.
But also seems like Amalia retains her human memories as displayed in the conversation about Amalia abandoning Maladie (she used Maladie's name, which I can't now recall) as a child.

Its possible indeed

Those Reptilians again! Spreading alien DNA with retroviruses from the sky. The season finale will show them for a moment.
