I've been DVRing them, but after the first few eps I lost interest. Might be better on the binge.

They didn't run out of source material, but they wanted to diverge from it and make a monstrosity instead. Looked up the source material when I heard about the show and it seemed pretty okay so I checked out the show only to find that I haven't a clue what they're trying to do with it.

Nah, it's superb.

I can see why it might confuse some people: it doesn't conform to the stale algorithms today's snowflakes get spoon-fed.

Despite this, let's look at the facts and figures: 8.4 on IMDB, 93% approval from reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes, 90% average audience score.

and GB16 was highly rated before it was released. ratings mean nothing these days.
