We get 1 scene of a Halloween party at the restaurant and thats it, the other 90% of the episode is Darlene in a bookstore and Dan being obsessed with a VR headset. Seeing as Roseanne was so known for their great Halloween episodes i figured they'd at least try and recapture that in The Conners but you'd barely even know it was Halloween in that episode.

shareI agree. Very disappointing. The previous Halloween specials were better (Sharknado'Connor). Even if you factor in covid, there's no excuse for dropping the ball like this. It's a decent Conners episode, but a disappointing so-called Halloween special.
shareI was just watching the old Halloween episodes last night. I love those every year. I wondered if The Conners kept up the tradition and now I guess I know, though it sounds as if with lackluster results.
