9 years between this and EP IV?
Obi-Wan aged REALLY REALLY badly. Luke seems about right. But Obi aged about 20 years. I guess living in the rock caves will do that to ya.

shareI do not think he aged so badly, but he is alone and extremely sad or disappointed.
share10 years. He didn’t look so bad. And to the extent he looked aged, the series provides an explanation of PTSD
shareThats only because the actor playing the character in episode 4 was really much older in comparison to the Obi Wan actor in this series. It had nothing to do with living in rock caves

Umm actually no. You are forgetting that 13 years passed in the span of 6 years worth of movies. Ep 1-3. So by Obi Wan tv show 23 years has passed since the release of Episode 1. So the 13 years within episode 1-3 and the 10 years that passed between episode 3 and the obi wan tv show adds up to 23 years later. If you were actually paying attention they did give Ewan McGregor the slight beginnings of graying hair in Episode 3. So everything looks reasonable perfect as to the aging of Obi Wan between episode 1 and the Obi wan tv show.
