... but it's so underwhelming. Bad writing all over the place.
I wonder if they asked George Lucas to write the synopsis, or is it Jar Jar Abrams again...

Why Di$ney wouldn't make it a top priority to have the production values at least as high as The Mandalorian is beyond me. Everything feels cheaper & lazier.

Yeah it’s a letdown.

The scripts definitely needed more work and the show overall needs a bigger budget.

I guess Disney (correctly) assumed us Star Wars fans would watch anyway so just went ahead and saved some money. Sigh.

IMO Lucas is actually a pretty good story-writer... he's terrible at dialogue... except for certain characters like Obi-Wan, his writing was consistent (very Jedi-like and wise) throughout the entire first 6 films.

Unfortunately this version of Obi-Wan doesn't even sound like the cartoons Obi-Wan, just terrible. I would bet Lucas definitely has nothing to do with this trash.

It's not all bad though, Ewan McGregor is definitely trying his very best with what he's being given and is perhaps the only reason why I keep watching... but absolutely everything else is cringe... particularly the actor playing the Third Sister, the least threatening villain in the entire Star Wars universe.
