Reva Will Be Redeemed

Gawd that'd be AWFUL.

There's NOTHING wrong with a ruthless villain being unredeemable. Disney gave us plenty. in fact, nearly every Disney villain is unredeemable. Reva is fine how she is, and I'd actually be very surprised to see her turn.

Nah, I think they're setting her up to fall victim to her own ambitions. Either Vader or Obi Wan or both knock her on her cocky little ass before the season's end. (which of course will just make her angrier at them both for future seasons)

Honestly I don’t mind her as a villain, but having her be the one who ends up saving Obi-Wan will be such a slap in the face. Obi-Wan is an established, competent character and when you have new characters outperform established characters it doesn’t usually go over very well and I don’t care what the gender/ethnicity is.

So far, they haven’t done anything to make her redemable. She said some stuff about being alone and having everything taken away from her. I don’t know where they are going with that.

She has to die anyway. My guess is that she’ll have a major fight with Obi-Wan and die. This will be key in Obi-Wan being restored to full confidence and power. Then he’ll have a final showdown with Vader.

Heavens, she's simply a mediocre actress given a major role in a major series. Her character needs to be cut in half and sent down a pit like Darth Maul was.

I can totally see that happening.

Was Kylo Ren redeemed because Di$ney couldn't tolerate a young white man as the villain? There's literally a villain/anti-hero redemption arc in nearly every Di$ney era Star Wars project at this point. The problem is lazy, repetitive writing but the only thing more lazy and predictable than the writing is the reactionary race-baiting from the alt-right sector at every possible opportunity.

Sigh.

I absolutely HATE how obsessed this series has become with that crutch, but this was one of the better examples of it. She was a kid, who not only witnessed, but hides from Vader's massacre of kids. We also never see her to be an outright mass murderer like some of the more ridiculous redemptions.
