This is easily the best thing DC has done

All the movies are trash, this series blows all their movies outta the water. The effects are amazing, the episodes are all really great and move at a fast pace, you're never bored throughout the season, ever. All the characters are really interesting, all the storylines woven throughout the different characters are great, everything about the show is perfect.

Its just beyond frustrating that this was cancelled before it was even given a chance, everyone loves it from what i've seen, its got amazing reviews. I mean surely this is gonna get revived and get another season right? i don't see how you let a show just die after it was so well received.

I heard it was a cost thing? the show was too expensive or something, i don't know all the details but its just baffling to me this show is cancelled, can Netflix or something get it for another season? I remember The Killing was cancelled and Netflix picked it back up and gave it another season, same with The Expanse, it was cancelled and another streaming service picked it back up.

Its just gonna be such a fucking shame if this stays cancelled.

I'm not really a comic book fan and I know nothing about Swamp Thing but I saw that the first season is streaming on HBO. It does look kinda interesting so I might give it a look.

Does it wrap things up in the first season or does it end on a cliffhanger? Is it worth checking out if there's not going to be more seasons..

reply

Yeah it ends with a cliffhanger, but i'd definitely say to check it out despite no more season being made, its really good, it has tons of gore and is easily the darkest thing i've seen DC make, almost feels like a horror movie.

I GREW UP WITH THE 80S SWAMP THING FLICK ON VHS...LOVE THAT MOVIE...I WANTED TO GET INTO THIS SHOW,THE CANCELLATION HAS MADE IT WEIRD...ONE DAY IM SURE ILL CHECK IT OUT.

It's better than it should be, though I wouldn't go that far.
