shareI know this post is 4 yrs old, but let me bump it instead of starting a new thread. LOL! I felt the exact same way. I feel like she's supposed to be some sort of anti-hero, or grey character. I'm in the 3rd episode, and they're telling us her backstory, and they're searching for her dad. Am I supposed to feel empathy and root for her? She kills innocent people, and I don't have the patience to wait for the reveal of her redeeming qualities. After 3 episodes, I'm tapping out. I have no interest in this "disgusting" person as you put it, or to find out if she ever finds her dad. No wonder this was cancelled after 1 season.
shareNo one is asking you to root for her, just follow the story. I enjoyed it and never felt myself empathizing for her.
Watch the original Australian show that is free on YouTube, I liked it a lot... unfortunately also got canceled though, so don't expect an ending.
NOTE: When I say it got canceled, I almost think it was a good thing, the ending seemed like it would've gone off the rails.
EDIT: Sorry, I guess it's British, not AU.
