Good for you for be interested in point of view! I am as well, I love seeing things another way than my own. The parable aspect for me is imagining yourself in this situation, not the logistics of it. What would your one item be and why? What does your item say about the kind of person you are. Each person’s item spoke of their character and how they viewed life in general. With fear? With knowledge? With compassion? When you decide to look for answers instead of staying on your ‘floor’ it’s dangerous, and the purpose might not be what you thought it would be. Sometimes you are on top of the world, sometimes you are scraping the bottom. Does it matter how you treat the people beneath you or should you only look out for yourself.
These are the kinds of questions that the film made me ask myself.
