The Grogu story arc has finished. He has been returned to the Jedi. What will the Mando go and do now? Back to his weekly bounty hunting business? Surly they should end it here, and move on to other characters and stories. Season 2 ended so perfectly, it would be a let down to continue it. And especially now since Gina Carano got fired.

Y'know what? The whole thing so far was unexpected. I sat through all three sequel films and figured Star Wars was over-- watch the older films, maybe the animated stuff... if sufficiently in need then read Star Wars novels. But they killed the forward motion. The last good Star Wars was Rogue One, and apparently that was a fluke.
Then The Mandalorian happens and I figured at first, why watch this? A bounty hunter--so what. I was wrong. Both seasons were excellent. The second season ended well... The Mandalorian is still alive. And that is no reason to assume that nothing more can be written about this character and any others whose actors haven't been cancelled for whatever reason. And new characters were being written in all the time. Good ones.
I say, give it a chance.
The behind the scenes shenanigans more or less ensures that a season 3 would be lower quality; reports of the producer quitting, Gina getting fired, Pedro moving onto other things. A season 3 wouldn't be with the original team, and too much time would have passed, so I say F it, and don't come back for a season 3. We loved you for season 1 and 2 and season's two climate was enough cum!

No next season will be trying to rescue the child from the fake Luke. Remember this was supposed to have happened after luke"s face got fucked up but this was the Episode IV Luke. So clearly a fake sent to kidnap the child.
