The thing with Gina had nothing to do with what she did, it was just an excuse to finally fire her because she's Conservative.

Again, her firing was about sending a message.

Imagine being offended by someone saying "dehumanizing people is bad." But like 70% of people on Twitter are perpetually offending on the behalf of people they don't even know and probably wouldn't lift to help them, if they meet them in real life. I don't agree with a lot of what she said. But im not a child that demands everyone agrees with me on everything.

They were warned again in 2014 with #GamerGate when gamers tried to expose how corrupt media was (and many warned that eventually it would affect real world politics), idiots and Centrists said "Just ignore them. Besides, video game journalism isn't important!"

Lo and behold that same corruption in journalism was used to foster and fabricate complete lies in the mainstream with the Russian hoax, and later used to bury all the election fraud that took place (and before you say Snopes says there's no fraud, just check out the links below):

Now we're on the precipice of these same lunatics attempting to declare any gun owners, registered Republicans, activist Conservatives, and anti-Leftists as "domestic terrorists", and forming watch lists and funding the Lincoln Project in order to force people into the lunacy that is the Rainbow Reich.

We're no longer "teetering" on moving in that "dangerous direction"... we're already heading straight down the pathway with the Left's poofer prefects standing by the wayside, loudly proclaiming that said pathway is paved with "good intentions".

Meanwhile, that very same pathway ends with a pit that falls right into the fiery bowels of Tartarus.

I very much doubt they'll be a season 3 tbh considering how season 2 ended. Basically admitting that everything post the original trilogy bar Rogue One and The Mandarlorian was a pile of crap and cementing that people only really care about the pre cuck Luke era. A bit problematic for Disney when they're trying to force "alternative" angles and move away from male lead characters. I'm not saying we can't have strong female characters as Gina proves that, just that Disney is apparently terrible at developing them in an organic way without heavy hand holding from the likes of Favreau.
