Who did she think she was, a Bond villain? In fact, there was a fair bit of Bond AND Bourne stuff in the first half of this movie. That moment with a jump from a rooftop to a balcony was STRAIGHT out of Bourne!
I hate that she never got her comeuppance. I mean, sure she got arrested but I wanted someone to point that thing at her and cause her to get eaten by one of the raptors. And I agree, it did have kind of a Bond/Bourne feel at times.

Yes, but even with the aside that it's an extremely different thing to get that signal to translate to a reptiles brain, those lasers have to be maintained on the target at all times unless it's stationary

The rockets that work on lasers don't have a gps guidance system. The laser is more accurate as it stays directly on the item instead of gps as it is in this area.. Animals like humans have a brain so they can retain a image and can adjust to going a different direction to get to a target,

It was awkward and almost comical. Movie spend time to present her as some know-it-all Bond villain that will outsmart all good guys chasing her. And then she put her hands up surrendering to that authority guy and "vanished" from movie. I was expecting her her to run away and and do her villain stuff. But nope. She was never shown again. They didnt even show her being arrested.
It was truly hilarious. They missed opportunity to have her being eaten.
This feeling like a Bond movie is actually what I enjoyed most about it. I'm not sure this was a good movie at all. But I had a blast watching it.
