More hooray: Dominion posted the second best opening day for a Jurassic movie with $59.55M, behind 2015’s Jurassic World ($81.9M) and ahead of Fallen Kingdom‘s $58.5M first day. Again, that $60M includes the $18M in previews.
Not bad for one of the worst films of the year so far.

shareHaha, either trolling or seriously deluded to think the negative reviews would kill this film’s box office success. These films are critic proof.
Heck I’m convinced Chris Pratt is a huge reason for their success, even the awful ‘The Tomorrow War’ he was in last year was a huge success for Amazon so much so it’s getting a sequel.
Dinosaurs + Pratt = $$$$$$$$

But this has been a very fun month for box office junkies.
A lot of fun non comic book movies...that's been awhile.
I saw it Friday morning with theater about 1/4 full. I was happy to see a full parking lot when I came out.The place has 15 theaters in it.
