i liked it

good movie, thursday-esk, in a good way. just a good one location movie. deserves a watch.

reply

Bump. This board needs attention. Great flick.

reply

This site needs a feature where we can make ourselves watchlists so we can remember what shows we want to try out.

reply

True shit aye. My memory ain't for shit. The amount of movies I get told to watch but don't remember, must be a long list. But don't forget to watch this one. B U R N.

I'm writing it down on a piece of paper right now. I know I'm gonna lose that piece of paper by tomorrow, but, by gum, I'm writing it anyway!

reply

I find writing it down just helps anyways. As soon as the pen is to pad it becomes locked in my memory, negating the need to have written it down in the first place, but not.

reply

Maybe it will work that way for me too. Nah, on Friday when it's movie night I'm gonna be looking all over my dining table for that one piece of paper going, "I just know it's here somewhere." Then we'll watch whatever Netflix puts up on the screen first.

reply

Did you watch it?

reply

Nope. True to form, I lost the piece of paper on which I wrote it. Never fear, I'm writing it down again!

Last night we watched "The Impossible," about a family that was in the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. It was pretty good.

reply

Think I saw that when it first came out, can't really remember. Will have to check it out again.

reply

Watched it yet?

reply

Rofl, uh......

reply

just moved it to the top of my Amazon list!

reply

Agreed. Had me hooked from the start. Melinda is such a fascinating character. I was never quite sure what she was going to do next so it kept me interested throughout.

Always appreciate good films that are set in a single location. It's a challenge to keep things interesting when you're tied to a single place, so it's an achievement when it all works. This one definitely does. Hope to see more from Mike Gan.

reply

Yeah I really like single location movies.
