Much Better than the First

I want to first say I did not care for the first one. I gave it a 5/10 for it's unimpressive action, cheap jokes, a very cliche love drama that fell flat as a pancake, and a terribly forgettable villain. I honestly can't even remember who the villain was or what the conflict was.

However, I found The Next Level very entertaining. Kevin Hart and Danny Devito are highlights with their comedy. I laughed my tail off at Kevin acting like an 80 year old man and Danny being an 80 year old man. Besides that the rest of the movie is about the same as the first. A weak love story, piss poor villain, and sub par general story.

6.5/10 I suppose comedy's are very subjective and I much preferred this style to the original
