Disclaimer! my fragile sense of manliness is easily shaken my films with smart or capable women. I prefer women to only be in the role of femme fatales or damsels and play passive roles overall. Even though many films in the past had strong capable characters like Trinity and themes of transsexuality, I don't describe that as woke. Only modern films I do not like

I self describe as an alpha, which obviously means I am of course 60, overweight, balding and easily threatened by anything new and different things that make me uncomfortable

just pre warning everyone. If you try and talk about a certain subject , no matter how unrelated it is I will immediately bring up, Biden, blm or antifa

Femmes fatale are usually smart and capable, albeit bad.

true I didnt really think of that. I was thinking more in terms they are passive in that they are jsut there to move our male protagonists story forward.

But you re right they are generally smart/ tricky. hmm that may be a step too far and threaten my fragile self.
