Most people between the ages of 20 and 45 from what I can see. Agree they are A-holes, though, and shows like this helped them acheive that state.
shareMy, what pretension! You don't have to like it. Everyone is different. But by what over-inflated evaluation of your own superiority do you presume to judge those who do like this show?
shareTo put it simply, this show and the people who appear on it embody many of the behaviors, speech patterns, traits and values that signify 'assholes' to me. I assume that those who like the show share or admire those characteristics, and therefore, are definable by me as 'assholes'.
shareThis is utterly incomprehensible. This show is a light-hearted, joyful exercise. No one takes themselves seriously. Host, judges, and contestants joke amongst each other. Fabulous costume designers display fabulous creations on celebrities of many stripes who perform without pressure or pretension. No great, valuable prize is on the line, only a nice trophy. It is the very opposite of "assholery."
shareI believe it would appeal to people who have a love of celebrities and solving mysteries. A friend of mine enjoys the show and she is also a fan of mystery shows like NCIS. My friend enjoys figuring out who the singer is by looking over the clues.
I fear that this show makes it ok to be a bad singer. I've seen some tv advertisements with celebrities singing badly and I blame this show.
