Even though I enjoyed the first film, I think this is going to flop at the box office. Would've been successful in it's original release date, but it's been pushed back so many times I think most people have just lost intrest. Plus, the cast for this one is nowhere near as impressive as the first film.
shareI found the first one to be boring. It is interesting that at the end of the first one they mentioned a sequel so they obviously are hoping to franchise it but I think it will flop as well.
shareagreed - it be one of those 'gross'ly underperforming sequels (Sin City, Basic Instinct) like 10m opening wkend. 30m domestic total. and maybe 100m overseas if its lucky (MOTOE did 30m opening/100m domestic total/250m overseas).
Reasons: Murder on Orient Expess was the well known iconic one even average Joe as heard of, the guest cast not as stellar (Depp, Dame Judi, Pfeiffer/Rey/Cruz over Armie, French&Saunders, Bening/Shuri/Gadot), and ultimately maybe MOTOE wasnt that well liked by audiences to really warrant a sequel and was just a one off for most just to see MOTOE done all modern day big/CGI
Seems likely. Plus the Armie Hammer allegations probably haven't helped it PR-wise.
