I was curious as to why all the male elves except Black Legolas had short, curly, 90s boy band hair, instead of long, straight hair. It ruins the look of the elves, and no amount of "let's make them look like they're from a 'younger age'" line is not gonna cut it. In the case of Black Legolas, he probably just didn't want to wear a wig and wore his own hair, making him look even less like a Tolkien elf than he already did.
