Ending (spoilers)

Yeah, i also had that thought for a moment, but, despite being a hero, Darby is still a recovering junkie and girl's parents probably wouldn't be very cool with that.

Just watched it, I thought that was gonna be the ending.

I also thought it would end that way but I was very glad to see Darby was still in rehab, doing the right thing for herself, and that her sister, who didn't want to have anything to do with her, had obviously changed her mind and wanted a relationship. The look on Darby's face was priceless. That was heartwarming.

I feel this ending was better and probably more realistic. Darby might’ve saved the little girl, but Darby is still a junkie. She also likely had to deal with the fallout of breaking out rehab and stealing someone’s car. The little girl’s family might’ve said “thanks” and then left
