"Malcolm" needs intensive mental health counseling before she pharmaceutically and/or surgically butchers herself and ruins her life, if it's not already too late. She can be a valuable member of the community as a woman, which is what she is.

Yeah, because cross-dressers and groomers don't already enjoy the support of every institution in the West, from government to media to academia to corporations. Even when they murder 9 year old kids, the media tells us that the real victim is the cross-dressing killer.

If I came to work tomorrow (for a massive globohomo corporation) wearing a sun dress and lipstick, every single person at my place of work would be forced to not just look the other way but celebrate my degeneracy. Anyone who uttered a peep about such behavior being abnormal, anyone who shunned me, would be walked out and the remaining employees would likely have to undergo reeducation camp.

The most valuable-to-the-community trans person I ever saw was a deli employee who worked at a deli in my hometown in the late '90s.

Shim had a very small quiet "female" voice I could hardly hear, so I would ask shim to repeat shimself again and again until shim was forced to speak loudly in shim's natural male voice.

I referred to shim as "The Trans-Gender Sausage Vendor". The running gag among the deli patrons was that shim was working there because the meat-cutter would be cheaper than surgery.

I love the fact that Otto was a complete asshole to basically everyone in the movie, yet for some completely out of character reason, was unbelievably sympathetic to the transgender character, showing us viewers that, yes, even miserable Otto sees that you have to sympathize and understand the plight of the transgender community. 😂
