It had everything. Humor, heart-warming family fun, powerful and intense, and some tear-jerking scenes too.

OK..I ended up enjoying it..It's not my type of film but sometimes a little humor and uplifting is required for me... and my hangover from the grit of everything else..

I just ask to be entertained these days and it delivered.

It was surprisingly well-made. I just didn't understand why the kids warmed up to the dad much faster than the mom, is it because she took it upon herself to be the "bad cop" more often? They still did a really good job, both of them.

The oldest clearly had mother issues. Either way, all of them had a mother and the father wasn't in the picture, so it was probably easier to accept someone new as a dad.
