I knew going in it would be close to 3 hours and it definitely is long winded and also has long stretches where it's not being particularly scary but this it's ambitious and made with skill.

People complain about the length of the film. If the length of the film was to give the child Losers extra scenes of being terrorised by Pennywise, it was worth it.
