Which is more idiotic: the cult or the flying critters?
???
shareAnd the cult only wanted a fertile grl...because that’s what’s most important three days into an apocalypse.
shareThe cult...just made no since why they wanted the girl. I thought maybe it had something to do with being squirted by the egg pus. But it never was explained and ended so poorly. Why end it like that!!!
And since when are crazies so easy to kill. They took the cult out with no problems, Haha. And the grandma died for nothing.
Everything about this was terrible. It's a cliched, generic mish-mash of other apocalyptic films, and in particular the modern ones themed around needing to reduce one of your senses. You could play an apocalyptic lottery game with all the cliches and just tick them off as you go: family with kids - tick, pet dog - tick, one of the kids has a disability relevant to the crisis - tick, someone is an asthma sufferer - tick, member of family sacrifices themselves - tick, creepy cult - tick.
The film doesn't have one single original bone in its body, but it was rubbish in so many other ways too. Even the acting was a let down, from people as usually solid as Stanley Tucci. He just looked like things were a minor inconvenience when his best friend died horribly, or when he and his daughter were surrounded by the critters in the chemists.
