Even the T&A can't save this - it's a BAD film
Canadian so-called (but it isn't really) slasher. A bunch of US high schoolers gather at the Wet Valley Water Park to celebrate their recent graduation with an 80s themed party. Unknown to them, 35 years ago the same water park was the scene of several grisly killings. Now, I'd like to say that before long a mysterious maniac starts bumping off said high schoolers in increasingly bizarre and gory ways, leading to the possibility that the killer from 35 years ago has returned. Except that doesn't happen. Instead, other than a handful of (very) brief kills near the beginning, we get nothing for pretty much the whole film until the last 10 minutes or so. In the meantime we have to put up with an assortment of jocks, nerds, airheads, and mean girls, apparently in competition with each other to see who can behave in the most dickish way. The makers were obviously aware of this massive slump, because the number of T&A bikini shots - often in slo-mo - that they cram in almost rivals those in Piranha 3DD (a much better film). Granted, once we reach that last 10 minutes we get some nice carnage with pretty good effects, but it's too late to save it, and we're way beyond caring who lives and who dies. Bad acting, bad writing (the killings from the 80s are pretty much forgotten about), bad almost everything. The ending and undeniably attractive ladies (shout-out to the car wash girls) scrape this a 3/10
