"The guy lost so much weight—throw him a bone."

The "guy" is Joaquin Phoenix, one of the top 3-4 actors right now. His level, perhaps Oldman, De Niro, Mikkelsen (if we feel generous), not many. Seymour Hoffman was the top one, but sadly he's dead. Ledger could have been there, but he's dead too.

These guys are a joke.

Of course they think that. They have to ever since a certain section of the population decided that Joker was a political flag for the incel movement.

Just look at their review of Chappelle's Sticks and Stones and that's all you need to know.

What a ridiculous article. What is wrong about yellow text for a title? What is wrong with Cream's "White Room"? Was he more mad that a mediocre comic book film like "Black Panther" was nominated last year?

The article talks down to everyone who likes the film and simply refers to anything he doesn't like himself as "dumb".

Also he spoils a lot of other movies.

The entire Oscars are a joke, never mind the Joker getting nominations. It's all just a big pageant about Hollywood glorifying itself.
