Why did he kill his own mother?
She did not lie to him about the adoption, right?
That was Thomas Wayne that did that, or what.... that was a bit confusing imo.

Watch it again without playing with your phone.
She let her boyfriend/husband abuse Arthur.
Penny is not mentally well as a person as she possibly has schizophrenic and narcissistic tendencies hinted in the film. She is shown to be neglectful as she didn't save Arthur as a child from his abuse, it's unknown why she didn't but it's presumed she was abused by him as well, causing her mental problems.
So she should not have been killed, since she was just sick and not evil.
So stop playing with your mini dick BenStrousers and pay attention.
don't come here with your 52 posts and throw insults around, and especially not at me.
Your pm's are reported as well
You are a idiot though for posting spoilers......so he's absolutely right. You were probably playing with your phone...πππ
shareThe idiots are checking message boards and not expecting to find spoilers over three months after it was released.
shareexactly, thank you
these 2 fucking morons here...... SMH
i ask a simple question, and some hobo accuses me of playing with a phone while watching the movie.... just answer the question or move on
Doesn't matter dumbass. I did it once and had my thread removed ..
shareIt's rude to put a spoiler in a thread title. This just came out on DVD.
shareNo, she didn't actually lie about the adoption. She just never told him. He always believed that was his real mother. Wayne was telling the truth, and his mom lied to him. He's crazy like her, so he jacked her for it.
shareit was not nice :-(
and silly as well, because he was really worried for her at the hospital, then only a short time later he killed her in the very same hospital.
it was a stupid move by the director/screenwriter..... even a sick man like arthur would not kill his mother just because "she did not stop the abuse"
he had only her, and he would love her no matter what.
only part of the movie i have a problem with .
Really? I thought that it made perfect sense that he killed her. I'm not justifying his actions, but please don't forget that he was mentally ill himself. How many murders happen because of loving someone?
The system betrayed him. His friend had betrayed him. He found out his mom lied to him. Wasn't he already off his meds at this time? Perhaps he thought he was doing her a favour.
yes, buy he had lived with her for 30 years, he was weird all those years....
he spared the midget, he would have spared his mother as well
The midget had not wronged him. It's been a while since I've seen it, but didn't he even say when he let him leave that the little person was the only one who he liked or was nice to him or something like that?
shareIt was not a stupid movie by the screenwriter. It had a purpose. It shows just how disturbed he really was. His slow descent into madness after he stopped taking his pills. He's clearly capable of anything and by him killing his mother and the talk-show host, we see just insane he's become. He'll evidently will kill anyone for the slightest infraction. It helps us to understand the character.
shareShe didn't lie at all -- Thomas Wayne was clearly the father and covered it up. Who lets a single mentally ill woman adopt a child? Think about it -- it's an Arnold Schwarzennegger type situation, rich guy plays around with the maid, then tries to avoid the consequences.
shareDOESNT EVERYONE?...GULP...
