What people should be talking about...
Overall it was a phenomenal film. The acting all around was superb as well as the score and cinematography.
It seems that most of the conversations the movie has been generating though has been because people are worried the actions Joker takes in the movie are being glorified and will inspire copycat violence. What people should be talking about though is the events that cause him to snap.
One major thing is that funding for his psychiatric help was cut so he could no longer get it or his prescriptions which should illustrate to people that mental health is important and we should take it seriously. Not to mention all the bullying that Arthur endures. I definitely don't justify his actions, but I empathize with his character.
