so for the writers took a bit of an easy way out with the all out brawl. Realistically (as far as a work of fiction can go) there was no way to have Robbie beat Axel or Tori/Sam beat Zara. But they didn't need that to happen or they shouldn't have made The Iron Dragons so invincible. Let's hope Part III can bring this story to a good closure.
shareWe all better really hope that part 3 can turn this show around. So far i think the entire season is lazy writing. Every character has no growth. Yes story is different location, but thats it. Its like a sitcom, start of show theres trials and tribulations and at end of show everything is hunky dory. Rinse repeat next episode. On and on we go
shareThe brawl was ridiculous. There was so much karate shit it became completely meaningless. I found my mind wandering to thoughts of Mary Mouser in lingerie and high heels panting and sweating on a treadmill. Then I mentally tuned back into the show and the fucking karate shit was still going on. It was like that scene in the Matrix Reloaded where Neo fights all the CGI Smiths. It was already ridiculous that seemingly every character in the show apart from Daniel-San's hot wife knows karate.

shareI guess they wanted to try and recreate the school brawl (which is one of the best brawls ever), but it definitely fell short.
shareThey painted themselves into a corner anyway. They set up too many fights, and there wasn’t enough time to do them all. Axel vs Miguel had to happen somehow, but they also needed Robbie to get through Axel since he was destined to fight Kwon. They also needed Kreese vs Silver, Daniel vs fake Danny Trejo, Johnny vs the Iron Dragons coach. Tory vs Zara, and a bunch of other stuff with the 1 off characters.
