For season 5

Kreese is in jail so his character should be a non factor for season 5. I wish Chozen was still a villain. Would have been great for Chozen to come to the Valley and team up with Silver. And then in the last episode, have Daniel take on Chozen and Silver and beat them both. Sort of like how Myagi took on both Silver and Kreese in Karate Kid 3.

I think Chozen being a villain is over now. He'll have to represent Miyagi-do since Cobra Kai are the champs and the Miyagi-do students are demoralized. Daniel never fought Silver directly so I doubt it would happen now. If we do though it will probably be a brief scuffle similar to Johnny vs. Terry, or perhaps when they all fought Kreese.

reply

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Daniel vs Silver in season 5 at some point. I’m guessing Barnes will show up as well so we can expect some fights along those lines as well.

reply

I don't think Barnes will be making an appearance. For one thing how would you bring him in? He has more reason to hate Silver than Daniel does. After KKIII they kicked him to the curb. Now the dojo has been reopened he would probably think he has been robbed of his 50%

reply

We don’t know what happened after Barnes lost in KK3. He probably will hate Silver but with Cobra Kai opening dojos all over the valley, he might try to come in for the 50% he was offered in the past. He could even be the Starscream to Silver’s Megatron, trying to usurp control over the franchise while fighting Daniel and Johnny.

reply

Have to admit that’s a scenario I didn’t think of.

Kreese will certainly not be a non-factor for season 5. He's going to be in jail for most of the season, but eventually the truth will come out. I'm guessing Stingray will become disillusioned with Cobra Kai under Silver's leadership - maybe because he'll find out what a psycho Silver is, or maybe because Silver's plans to expand will make Cobra Kai less special. Or maybe he will just confess to someone out of sheer guilt.

Chozen, being the head of Miyagi-do in Okinawa, is never going to team up with Silver. Instead, I think Chozen will now be sensei of Miyagi-do in the Valley, with Daniel subordinate to him. That way, Daniel can get around the promise of not teaching again by saying "I'm not teaching Miyagi-do karate, he is".

reply

So far everything Stingray has done has been out of sheer stupidity. I think he is just going to blurt it out accidentally.

reply

That's a very real possibility.

reply

I don't like that because we already saw Daniel kick Chozens azz. Daniel is tougher than him

reply

We've also seen Chozen kick Daniel's ass, the last time they met. Chozen then taught Daniel some secrets that Miyagi had kept from him. Also, Chozen has been practising karate continually since Karate Kid II, whereas Daniel has spent most his time after KK3 as a car salesman. Chozen is clearly tougher than Daniel.

reply

You're probably right

reply

Just had a thought, somehow theyre gonna work this out. . . Miguel’s dad will be found (mike Barnes), and chozen is already stateside. ALL 3 of daniels foes are gonna meet face to face. Probably in dramatic fashion like a mortal Kombat trailer, haha.
Chozen, at this point IS the baddest man in the series, as he now knows everything miyagi knew, and proved it when locked Daniel up like a paraplegic, and Miyagi has wiped the floor with every teacher in this series.
I think Kreese will be a non factor for a good bit. My gut tells me he will be the one stop Silver. It makes sense, he started all this, and he’s starting to realize some things. I don’t know how, but with a few tricks, he’s gonna have to put down the rabid dog so to speak. I don’t think jail is a way to write kreese out of the series. Johnny is righting his wrongs and I think kreese will to. PS. Daniel will bail him out, mark my words.

reply

Isn't there no bail anyway in California so Kreese technically should get released from jail and be awaiting trial
