I liked it

That was really well done imo. You could really feel the energy there, and the synchronization was fantastic.

That was about the only scene with the victims that was well done. Even the rest with the kid that was anticlimactic. The kids performances lacked emotion.

I was REALLY disappointed in this movie.

Great tension and atmosphere. The Black Phone is a good movie. I enjoyed it too!

I did too. Thought the kid actors were great and the film had a lot of tension. The only thing that really bothered me was how the killer's roommate/brother was oblivious to him being a mass murderer. Maybe his brother lived in the other house and I missed that. He never goes to the basement or wonder what is going on down there after all the repairs? I felt like there was no purpose to even having that character. Overall really enjoyed it though.

I liked it too, it clearly disappointed those looking for something gorier - it relied on tension and drama more than horror but I preferred it that way. A compelling storey.
