how many QT movies have you seen at cinema?

for me just Pulp Fiction and now OUATIH.

at the time PF was something of a phenomenon that HAD to be seen on the big screen. I remember being on a school trip to the cinema where we were allowed to see whatever. Most chose Forrest Gump. Me and a couple other went Pulp. As a recent film buff at the time I knew it was a big deal as Empire magazine (which had just started buying every month) had given it the 5star instant classic treatment and there was the hip cast (and Travolta) and it was the follow up to the already iconic Reservoir Dogs

the rest - just on dvd. came close to seeing IGB in cin but didn't make it

once upon a time, django, inglourious basterds & pulp fiction (but this was in a retro-cinema showing)

loved every one.

Pulp Fiction
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill 1
Kill Bill 2

That might be it. Honestly can't remember for sure if I saw Inglorious Basterds in the theater or if I waited for the blu ray. But everything after that, I definitely waited and watched at home. I came very, very close to going to see Once Upon A Time in a theater, but nope.

I saw Pulp Fiction 6 times in the theater. Thinking back on it I am not even sure how that was possible but it just blew me away.

I know my friends and I all walked out to the car very happy and knowing we'd just seen a new instant classic. God only knows how many times I've re-watched it over the years at home.

Same and it never fails to totally engross me. Just amazing character driven storytelling, dialogue, writing, editing and directing.

Only Dogs and Fiction.
I remember I had to go to a late night showing of RD and I had a German exchange student living with me, and he was alarmed I would choose to watch this, (likely from reputation).
Then when PF was released, I had a date where we went to it, and it was thrilling.
Maybe now all the shock isn't that engaging, but at the time it seemed very visceral, and had a black humor to it.
I consider it to be a very good date. The woman's eyes were lit up.

Zero.

I go to the theater an average of once every 10 years. Took my nephew to see Kong: Skull Island(2017). So if I live another 8 years I can save up my Yen and hit the cinema and of course smuggle some snacks into the theater.
