I'm just super mad that he wasn't trans, disabled and also a muslim kid who was wearing a BLM T shirt while waving a rainbow flag!!!! I mean, how bigoted and hateful can you get??

And if they still had to cast a normal Asian kid, at least show him doing math or learning IT FFS! You can only suspend disbelief by so much.

Technically he is Hispanic... so we could say he is Peruvian which has a lot of Asians. But that's a stretch. The kid could also be adopted. Either way obviously they put in minimal effort into making this realistic.

He wasn't white, he as Hispanic ... and so was the kid (well partly).
