I tuned in late..but I like this

I'm at the part where A woke up in Rhiannons body. It's a bit confusing but interesting to say the least. After she wakes up and goes to see her boyfriend she breaks up with him...almost like she knew she had to do it. Then calls A and tells it "are you kidding me, I woke up with my mind more clearer than ever"...
She says she felt like she went to bed Thursday and woke up Saturday..with all these new memories of A. How does no one else remember anything? Or feel the slightest different...no memories at all. Wouldn't there be a ton of people waking up feeling like they had something happen to them that they can't explain?

I read the book after seeing the movie, so I'm not sure how much of this made the film but ...

"A" can control how much the host actually remembers. Because A loves Rhiannon so much, A left all of the day's memories in her head.

In the novel, A actually leaves Alexander (not sure if that was his name in the book) with selective memories of dating and falling in love with Rhiannon, without any awareness that A was ever involved
