This takes place 20 years after the events of Starship Troopers, which means this war has been raging for two decades, and they're still using those silly 20th century machine guns and seemingly unprepared Mobile Infantry squads, as well as Fleet not expecting "Bug Plasma" again, you think by now they'd know what to expect.

Though many quotes from the 1997 hit Starship Troopers are used, such as "you wanna live forever" and "would you like to know more?" , many times over, I enjoyed it. Now I'm wondering, why did it take 20 years for this to come out? Gonna need more of these types of movies to be made. Some of the memorable music tracks from Basil Poledouris' original soundtrack come back as well.

Anyways, I enjoyed it, 7.5/10.

I thought it had some good moments but overall it's not something I'd watch again.

I'll continue to check out any future films.

Theres been a number of other star ship trooper between 1997 and now. Theres even another live action star ship troopers movie that came out in the 2000s and I'm thinking at least 1 other CGI film.

Agreed, this one was almost as good as the first movie. Better than all the other sequels by far.

Not much in terms of story but it has good characters to keep you interested in their well being.

Great action and set pieces makes it rewatch worthy for me. 6/10
