Well, when you consider that she WAS a woman who was tortured and experimented on by Thanos, anything is possible, however, I think the picture in the post is just a different angle of Karen Gillan.
shareHaving now seen the movie, I'm curious as to why she seemed to have a pot belly for the entire movie. Gamora and Mantis didn't look that way. It was distracting.

shareHer Instagram feed has photos that she posted during the time the movie was filmed in which she has a thin waist, though. One even has a caption about how her fingernails are blue because she had been filming scenes as Nebula the day before.

And this was shot in April 2022, toward the end of the shoot (she even mentions her fingernails still still being blue from Nebula makeup due to having shot a scene the day before).

Did her figure really disappear since Endgame? That promotional picture is so bizarre.

Yeah, watching movie I kinda felt that maybe she just gained a little bit of weight and it wasn’t that much of producers fault. What would they say to her? "Honey, lose some weight!"? She would run to press and attack them. So they let her be the way she showed up on set.
But if was their fault for giving her that horrible costume and choosing that picture for poster.
If they are sexist morons who call women they are working with as “honey”, they should be pointed a finger at. Other than that, studios require actors to get into a certain shape all the time, sometimes by getting fat, sometimes by getting ripped. So, this bizarre look can not be a coincidence.
