when luke tries to burn down the house in the current day were the dudleys still living there. or were they dead?

why did william hill brick himself in?

how old was the house and where did all the ghosts come from?

who or what killed arthur?

the abigail murder was overlooked.

reply

Dudleys didn't IN the house itself. I don't quite remember if they were still alive or dead by the time of the present.

I don't recall. I remember that he was insane, arguably exacerbated by the house. The Poppy ghost briefly talks about him I think.

The age of the house (and the nature of its evil/supernatural qualities) aren't really discussed in detail or relevant to plot at hand. "Some houses are just born bad."

Arthur had a brain aneurysm or something. It was medical.

What do you mean overlooked? The dudleys knew it happened, which is why they wanted the house to stay standing so they could visit her ghost.
