i thought it was really good, almost great. the only real complaints i have with it are that it peaked a bit early (episode 5+6 are the standouts) and the finale gets a bit too soap-opera-ish and sappy.
but if you can sit through 10 episodes of something, you might find it enjoyable. it's surprisingly emotional in places.

I wish I could erase my mind and watch it again for the first time.
When this show first came out I watched the trailer and figured I would watch it because I enjoy ghost movies and supernatural movies, I watched it for no other reason other than I was hoping maybe it might have a few good scares.
But this show completely blew me away and instead of watching it for scares, I became absolutely engaged and invested in the characters and stories in this show
for me The Haunting of Hill House it is tied with True Detective season 1 as my favorite individual TV seasons of all time
no exaggeration here , I literally cannot recommend this show enough Z
