Have heard that it is a really overrated show and not scary at all but it has a high rating so what is the verdict?

shareSort of. As it goes along it’s good but a big part of that are intriguing mysteries… which don’t really amount to much in the end, making the whole slog rather pointless.
As a horror it’s fairly tame and has a 6th Sense PG-13 wholesomeness about it. This ain’t no Ari Aster project.
It’s definitely overrated at 8.6, it’s more like 6.8
