Besides being Denzel Washington's son. He doesn't have any star quality at all.

Unlikely. Denzel is a sane, decent, anti-woke Christian. He even berates a black kid for ‘blaming white people’ in Equalizer 2.

I’ve got nothing against John David Washington, but he doesn’t have a fraction of the on-screen charisma of his dad.

I loved the concept; I hated his casting.

Also, as much as I love Debicki, she was complete fodder in this film and entirely unnecessary to the broader plot points.
