Countdown timers on bombs has always made me wonder what the hell the writer was thinking. Why in the hell would someone put a countdown timer on a bomb? If you are the person that build the bomb then you know how long the timer is set for when you build it. You also know once you turn it on you aren't going to stand around watching it, so why have a timer displaying? Is it supposed to be because every bomber in the world knows that someone might find the bomb and you want them to know if they have enough time to deactivate it or run like hell? If a bomber is going to put a timer on bombs I would like for them to be random so that the bomb doesn't go off when they hit zero.... hell add in a speaker and have the bomb just randomly say, "Did you think I was dumb enough to use a visual timer?" and then explode when ever anyone touched any part of the bomb.... at least use the stupid ass timers for some comedy.
