Theaters are inherently unsafe, sitting for three hours in the breath of dozens and dozens of random strangers just isn't very safe right now.

There was 5 other people in the theatre I went to.

We walk around in public with masks, go to shops, bars and other places wearing them and social distance. The same happens in cinemas.

Except in cinemas you sit still in a poorly ventilated room for hours with a bunch of strangers. Why take the extra risk?

empty theaters are NOTHING compared to stupidity out there.
While those people are certainly not being smart, a theater is an enclosed space where people sit still for a couple of hours, breathing eachothers air. Often with insufficient ventilation. So FILLED theaters are quite something of an added risk for spreading infection.

shareIt certainly is. A nice walk in a park or some forest. Or cycling somewhere. Just stay outdoors and keep away from crowds.
shareI don't feel comfortable going to theaters right now. I do walk outside, attend small parties with family and go to the store. Other than that, I stay away from people.
