I really liked this movie although I agree that there were a few stupid things and plot holes that some other people mentioned.
While watching I had 3 main questions.

1) What was with the room under the floor? Just because the room was under the floorboards means its automatically completely soundproof? Was there some method of sound proofing that I missed?

2) Was there something I missed about how the water line broke? Was it maybe from the monsters throwing things around looking for the humans? Did they throw the washing machine?

3) Some questions about the pregnancy. How did they know the exact due date? Of course, the baby came quite a bit earlier but they seemed to have a confident exact date, as if they went to an OB/GYN. Not sure how they would be able to calculate a date. Maybe they just made sure to only have sex 1 time and wrote down the date and were able to find medical books that could estimate how many days from intercourse a baby is normally due?

1) There was a scene early in the movie where they showed the kids (maybe the mom too) layering the walls which I took to mean they were trying to soundproof the room.

2) I missed this too.

3) This is spelled out but I'm guessing they could be pretty certain of the conception date and just set it based on that.

3: I am not a doctor, but it showed her taking her blood pressure and marking it on the calendar... not sure if blood pressure and pregnancy are related or what, lol.
