It had quite a few flaws, and also some solid moments. Overall I can't see this as a total disaster but rather something that tried to overcome some big production problems and was only moderately successful.

I thought Apocalypse was pretty good. Dark Phoenix was just alright, in my opinion. Not the worst of the X-Men movies, but not one of the best.
