Does Season 1 need to be watched or can one watch Season 2 and not miss anything?

Having a hard time finishing Season 1. Can I skip the rest and just watch Season 2? Or will something be missed?

Yeah. Season 2 has no connection to season 1.

Actually it has, but quite loose. You wouldn't miss much.
