Yeah, everyone was constantly letting emotions get in the way of rationality, and it got pretty annoying sometimes. I think the only person who didn't let emotion take over at any point was Berlin. Even the professor did some stupid things because of emotion, which was more egregious on his part because the people in the mint depended on him as their support in the outside world, and he had gotten them all into it in the first place, so he had a greater responsibility to keep things under control.
Still enormously entertaining though, one of the best TV series I've ever seen.
Kawada and asom: both true, but maybe that's just to satisfy the taste of Spanish TV viewers, who were the primary audience for this series. I'm American, so I don't know for sure.
