no season 2 ??

is this confirmed ?/

reply

It's confirmed. ABC has a habit of cancelling good sci-fi.

reply

I was going to binge season 1 and now what is the point ??

reply

I still gotta finish it. Don't know if there's a cliffhanger or not. But this show was kinda canceled before it even premiered.

reply

that was a quick cancelation.

reply

I began to binge after I found out it was cancelled. So far I like it and have one episode to go.

reply

Let me know if it has an ending or not. Looks great but if there is no ending, no point

reply

There's an ending and worth watching. Rest of my message below.

reply

if they wrap it up, I may binge it. let me know. thanks.

reply

They pretty much wrapped it up. No cliff hanger.

The producer tweeted:
"season 1 was written to be a complete story in and of itself... we're not saying you won't be wanting more when it ends, but we are saying you’ll be happy you watched the remaining eps... to see your theories tested..."

I agree. Last episode was really good, too.

reply

Thank you very much for the info. I will now binge this. Appreciated.

You're welcome. Cancelled show "Lucifer" was just picked up by Netflix. I wish they'd do the same for "The Crossing".

reply

How can we get this done?

reply

Fans have to fight. I did a little research and there is a twitter campaign to save the show:

Hashtag: #SaveTheCrossing, #RenewTheCrossing

From article:
"The sci-fi series was canceled at ABC after its only its first season.
The move is surprising considering the premiere of The Crossing was the second-most-watched debut (in almost three years) on ABC for its time slot, according to Deadline, and the show inspired a podcast called, "The Crossing Podcast."

Some other cancelled reversals were Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Timeless. But the latter was cancelled again with a possible TV movie in works.
